Word of God

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

The Trinity

We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons, sovereign, that these are equal in every divine perfection, and that they execute distinct, but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence, and redemption. Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 48:16; Genesis 6:3

God the Father

We believe in God, the Father, an infinite, personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men and women, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sins and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. John 6:27

Jesus Christ

We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, the image of the invisible God. Conceived by the Holy Spirit, we believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal visible return to earth. The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who exists with the Father and the Son, convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ, and that He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide. John 15:26-27; John 16:8; 2 Corinthians 3:17

Salvation

We believe that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Salvation is by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ as the only way to the Father. John 3:16, 5:24; Romans 3:21-24, 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:3-7; 1 John 5:11-12

Sanctification

We believe sanctification is the regenerative ministry of God the Holy Spirit, who lives within, enables, and empowers believers toward Christlikeness. John 14:15-26; 16:5-16; Romans 8:29; Ephesians 1:13-14; 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8

Creation of Human Beings

We believe that God created all human beings in His image; male and female He created them. We believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end, that we must honor the physical and spiritual needs of all people, following Christ’s example. We believe that every person should be treated with love, dignity, and respect. Genesis 1:27; Psalm 139:13; Isaiah 49:1; Jeremiah 1:5; Matthew 22:37- 39; John 13:34-35; Romans 12:20-21; Galatians 6:10

Marriage

We believe marriage is ordained by God as the union of one man and one woman as God created them. We believe God’s design for sexual intimacy is to be expressed only within the context of marriage. Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5-6; Mark 10:6-9; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9; Ephesians 5:22-33
