The Role of Truth in Meaningful Dialogue

Free live Diverse Discussions Webinar on Monday, March 31, 2025 @4-5PM Pacific Time (5pm Mountain, 6pm Central, 7pm Eastern). This Zoom discussion will not provide any continuing education credit, but feel free to invite your Christian friends and colleagues. A recording of this webinar will be available to ACHHS members in the members-only archive on our website. Please see the bottom of the events page for a list of past webinars we’ve hosted.

Presenter Joseph R. Miller, DMin, PhD, is currently Associate Professor of Christian Worldview at Grand Canyon University, and is on the Advisory Council for the Center for Biblical Unity. When Dr. Miller is not speaking or teaching, he enjoys doing life with his wife Suzanne and their three sons. You can read more of his work, listen to his podcast ‘raZe the roof,’ and watch his videos at MoreThanCake.org.

The webinar presentation will explore these two questions:
  1. Does every disagreement today seem to end in anger?

  2. How can our understanding of truth help us engage in meaningful conversation?
Moderator Kat Elias, LCSW, co-hosts and produces “The Rooted and Edified Show,” a Conservative Christian Podcast. She founded BeYOUtifully Rooted, a Christian Mental Health & Education Corporation for women, and is currently on the Board of The Association of Christians in Health and Human Services (ACHHS). Kat has been in the social work field for 20 years, with the majority of her focus in Medical Social Work. She recently (2024) obtained her certificate in Apologetics from Biola.
